Pascale Carrier discovered painting with Zao-Wou-Ki and Turner, her first pictorial shocks which founded an approach inspired by lyrical abstraction. His work ? A ceaseless exploration of color, material and shapes…

 

She expresses, in her own words, the meaning of her approach:

 

“When I start a work, I never know how far my exploration will take me, how far the emotions will take me.

 

It's a real journey to launch yourself onto the canvas, the kraft paper or the sheet, gradually taming what appears there, springs out, emerges..."

 

His different series reveal the themes of a work that is expressed in all formats, small and large.
 

With "Vibrating materials", the superposition of coatings and layers which mix and intertwine bring out effects, textures...

                                                            

In "Intimate territories", shadow and light, metamorphosed by the evocation of shapes and colors, echo each other in lands of mystery...

 

"Traces and prints", it is the impulsiveness of the gesture where textures, spots and tints are revealed in a synergy of colors...

 

Finally, "Floriworld“ is an interpretation of the floral world, sensitive, poetic and imbued with abstraction...
